At the public market in Siaton

We came across the market in Siation by chance. As we didn’t find what we were looking for in Dauin and Zamboanguita, we drove on to Siaton.

It was a Saturday and not Sunday, which is actually the most important and liveliest market day at the Siaton market in Negros Oriental.

I then systematically roamed the market and the side streets next to and behind the market with my camera. Here are a few general photos of the market on the main street with the jeepney and pedicab terminal, the food stalls, the women selling kangkong, the general stores, the small meat and fish market and the stalls along the side street with the vegetable stalls.
