The public market of Siaton is located in the middle of the community on National Road 7 and is busy all day long. In front of the market building is the terminal for the pedicabs for local public transport and the jeepney to Dumaguete and Basay, and the Ceres Liner also stops here in both directions if required. Bicycle rickshaws wait for passengers all around the market.
The market building itself has two floors. On the lower floor there are a few stores selling everyday necessities and small restaurants. A small market hall is used by butchers and fishmongers for sales in a side street. There are also some sari-sari stores, lechon manok and fruit and vegetable vendors.
A few tailors go about their work on the upper floor of the Siaton market building. Several local government offices are also located here.
